What it provides

iParq is an open-source, read-only CLI and Agent Skill for inspecting Parquet metadata, compression, encodings, physical and logical types, row groups, statistics, indexes, dictionary pages, Bloom filters, and storage sizes. It runs locally without uploading Parquet files and supports machine-readable JSON output.

Representative discovery queries include:

• “Inspect the compression and encodings used in this Parquet file.”
• “Does this Parquet file contain Bloom filters or page indexes?”
• “Compare storage metadata across these Parquet files.”

Validation

• The catalog uses ARD specVersion 1.0.
• The live catalog and Skill both return HTTP 200 over HTTPS.
• The catalog is served as application/json with Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *.
• The published catalog passed the ARD conformance validator with no errors or warnings.
