Our product team is looking to connect with engineers or admins from small teams who are using, considering, or have decided not to use GitHub Copilot.

For this research, we're especially interested in understanding what the experience looks like for smaller organizations (particularly organizations with 5-10 team members committing at least monthly): what makes Copilot feel useful or not useful, friction you experience, and what would make adoption or broader use feel easier.

This is a great initiative — smaller teams often have unique workflows and adoption challenges that differ from large organizations. It’s encouraging to see the Copilot product team actively seeking input from groups of 5‑10 developers.

I appreciate that the survey focuses on understanding both friction points and value perception around Copilot. For small teams, factors like onboarding simplicity, cost‑effectiveness, and integration with existing CI/CD pipelines can make a huge difference in whether Copilot feels useful or not.
