I am trying to apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, but my school is not available in the drop-down list during the application process.

Here are my school and application details:

I have attached my official Bonafide Certificate (issued on July 18, 2026) signed by the head of the institution.

Could you please manually review my application or add my institution to the recognized school list?

If your school is not listed in the database of github. Don't worry, you can still apply for github student developer pack. You just have to prove your student status. Start an application for the pack, and put full name of your school after that use your bonafide letter to verify yourself as a student.

Bro, I have tried every single method since July 18th. I uploaded documents, captured live photos using mobile camera, provided official links—everything. But because the school isn't listed, the automated system keeps rejecting the application without proper verification.

That’s why I have raised a direct support ticket with the GitHub team along with my official Bonafide certificate and DoE portal link for manual review. Just waiting for them to check it now.

You might be doing mistake while applying. View the dedicated discussion page for Github Student Developer Pack. Do you know? When i applied for github developer pack, my school was not listed. It was pending for 8 days. Then i raised a ticket, after some hours my application got rejected so i re-applied again and filled every details and my application got accepted. Fun fact: My school is now listed in the database of GitHub.
