Looking for guidance after completing GitHub Support's requested actions — account still flagged #203498

Hey! Just to save you some time—the Trust & Safety team doesn't handle account flags or reinstatements through Community Discussions for privacy reasons. Mods and staff here don't have access to internal account data, so posting this thread unfortunately won't get your account reviewed by their team. Since your previous ticket #4349555 was closed, the only real way forward is to submit a fresh ticket through the official GitHub Support portal under account reinstatement. Just select account issues, paste your explanation, and make sure to reference ticket #4349555 along with the date you deleted the repo. It sucks that the old ticket got closed after you did what they asked, but opening a new support ticket is the only way to get it back on their queue. |

To the GitHub Trust & Safety Team,
I am submitting this as a follow-up to my previous reinstatement request (Ticket #4349555).
My GitHub account (ozkite) was flagged around March/April 2026. After reviewing my previous request, GitHub Support replied on May 30, 2026 with the following instruction:
"Before removing the restrictions, we would need you to delete the repository ozkite/Polymarket-Arbitrage-Trading-Bot. Please let us know once this is done and we will continue the review for full reinstatement."
I immediately deleted the repository and replied to the ticket on May 31, 2026, confirming that it had been removed. In my reply I also asked whether there were any additional repositories or content that required attention, as I wanted to ensure my account fully complied with GitHub's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policies.
Unfortunately, I never received another response, and when I recently attempted to follow up, I was informed that the previous ticket had already been closed and could not be reopened.
As of today (July 30, 2026), my account remains flagged and restricted.
The restriction is having a significant impact on my professional work, including:
My GitHub profile is not publicly visible.
I have been a GitHub user since 2016, and GitHub has been an essential part of my work as a software engineer, startup founder, and contributor to open source projects.
I fully understand and respect GitHub's responsibility to enforce its Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policies. My intention is simply to resolve this matter and ensure that my account complies with all GitHub policies.
If there is any remaining repository, fork, file, or other content that still requires action before reinstatement, I would sincerely appreciate being informed so that I can address it immediately.
I respectfully request that my account be reviewed again, considering that I completed the remediation requested in the previous ticket over two months ago.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I appreciate the work of the Trust & Safety team and look forward to your guidance.
Looking forward hearing from someone that knows how to fix this issue/blocker, thank you.
