Form Errors & Technical Issues
Hi everyone,
Hello GitHub Education Team,
My previous GitHub Education student application has already been marked as rejected.
However, when I click “Start an application” to submit a new application, I receive the following error:
“There was an error creating the discount request.
Discount request could not be created.
You have an outstanding discount request for @ericdonno.”
The application is shown as rejected on the Education Benefits page, but it appears that the previous discount request is still marked as outstanding in the backend.
Please clear or reset the stale outstanding discount request so that I can submit a new application.
I am not requesting an individual manual review or an application status update. I am reporting a technical issue that prevents reapplication.
Thank you.
btw, this appears to be the same issue reported in Discussion #203418.
A similar case in Discussion #161101 was resolved after GitHub Support reset the stuck application. Could the same reset please be performed for my account?
