Cannot apply for Student Developer Pack due to country and email restrictions #204186

Hi Sunatulloh, A couple of suggestions that might help move this forward: I'd skip waiting on this Discussions thread — it's mostly community-run and staff rarely respond here. Instead, go straight to support.github.com and open a ticket, selecting "GitHub Education" as the category. That routes to actual staff rather than the public forum. In the ticket, I'd include: Your student ID with the English translation attached For the missing school email, a student ID (front and back, showing your name, institution, and validity dates) plus a short enrollment letter from your college is often enough to get through manual review without a .edu-style email. For the VPN/location flag, I'd state clearly in the ticket whether or not you're actually using a VPN — the automated system sometimes misflags normal traffic from certain regions, and support can manually override it once they see your documents. Hope that helps — worth posting back here with what you hear, it could help others running into the same wall. |

Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
My name is Sunatulloh. I am trying to apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, but the automated application system completely blocks my submission due to location and VPN errors. Furthermore, my college does not issue student email addresses to individual students.
I am currently enrolled at the Volgograd College of Management and New Technologies named after Yuri Gagarin (Russia). I use GitHub strictly for my personal non-commercial education, learning computer science, and practicing coding.
I have my official student ID with a clear English translation completely ready. Could a GitHub Education staff member or moderator please look into my case and open a private ticket for me so I can upload my verification documents securely?
Thank you so much for your understanding and support!
