Bruno CLI Alternative for API Testing in GitHub Actions #204651

if you’re looking for Bruno-like api testing that fits github actions cleanly, a few solid options depending on what you care about most:
for your checklist (ci run, envs, local+ci reuse, clear pass/fail, openapi-ish workflows):
if you share whether your tests are collection-based or code-based, i can sketch a minimal workflow yaml for the best fit. |

It is lonkero-casino-fi.com worth checking the sports markets on offer and comparing them with the choices available elsewhere. |

Discussion Details
I've been using Bruno for API testing, but I'm currently evaluating alternatives as our API tests become more integrated into GitHub Actions.
The main things I need are:
Run API tests directly from CI
Support different environments
Reuse the same test scenarios locally and in Actions
Get clear pass/fail results
Work with OpenAPI-based projects
I've looked at Hurl, Newman, HTTPie, and Apidog CLI.
Apidog CLI has been interesting because I can run the same API test scenarios locally and then execute them in GitHub Actions without maintaining a completely separate testing workflow.
Bruno itself has a solid CLI and GitHub Actions support, so I'm curious about the alternatives rather than assuming one tool is best for every project.
For those running API tests through GitHub Actions:
Have you tried a Bruno CLI alternative?
What made you switch, and which tool has worked best for your CI workflow?
