No "Payment information" page in enterprise Billing & Licensing - how to add a card?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to update the payment card for our enterprise account, but I can't find anywhere to do it.

On the enterprise "Billing and licensing" pages, the left sidebar only shows: Overview, Usage, Cost centers, and Budgets and alerts. There is no "Payment information" page at all, and opening github.com/enterprises/MY-ENTERPRISE/billing/payment_information directly returns a 404.

According to the docs ("Managing your payment and billing information"), there should be a "Payment information" page in the Billing & Licensing section, but it simply doesn't exist for our enterprise.

A few details:

• The billing overview loads fine and shows our current metered usage (Actions)
• Our company card was recently replaced by the bank, and we need to add the new one before the next payment

My questions:

1. Why would the "Payment information" page be missing for an enterprise? Does this indicate the account is invoiced, or on a trial?
2. Is there another place to add or update a card for an enterprise account?

I've already opened a support ticket (#4646894), but I'd appreciate any insight from other enterprise admins who have run into this while I wait for a response.

If the Payment information page is completely missing, your enterprise may be using invoiced billing rather than card/PayPal billing. In that case, there may not be a card to update in the Enterprise billing UI.

You can check your invoices/payment history to confirm. Since you already have a support ticket, GitHub Support should be able to confirm the billing method and tell you how to update it if necessary.

Hi! If the Payment information page is completely missing from the Enterprise Billing & Licensing section and the direct URL returns a 404, it may be related to how the enterprise account is billed rather than a browser or permissions issue.

For example, if the enterprise is invoiced or has a billing arrangement managed through GitHub, payment-card management may not be available in the usual self-service billing interface.

Since you already have an open support ticket, GitHub Support should be able to confirm the exact billing configuration and whether a card can be managed directly for your enterprise.

I cant even update my address or anything else. Also submitting a support ticket is also broken. Cant seem to get past the gates to pay for enterprise. Very frustrating.
