The issue doesn't seem to be the document upload itself. In your screenshot, GitHub is requiring Galgotias University students to use a verified school-issued email address. GitHub currently lists the accepted domains for your university in the application, so using your personal Gmail address won't let the application continue. Try adding your university-issued email to your GitHub account first, verify that email, and then restart the Education application using that address. If Galgotias University does not provide you with an email using one of the domains GitHub lists, then the school's information in GitHub may be incomplete/outdated. In that case, contact GitHub Education Support and explain that your university does not issue you an address using the required domain. Include the university name and the email/domain information they actually provide. Your student ID can still be useful as proof of current enrollment, but it won't necessarily bypass an academic-email requirement configured for your university. |
