GitHub contributor statistics are cached and there is no manual “flush/regenerate contributors” action available to repository owners. If the repository history has been successfully rewritten and the old commits are no longer reachable, GitHub may still display the previous contributor temporarily. It can take up to 24 hours for contributor statistics to refresh. I would recommend waiting 24 hours first. If the removed contributor is still listed after that, contact GitHub Support and provide the repository URL, the new default-branch SHA, and confirmation that the old Co-Authored-By trailers and commits are no longer present. Repeated force-pushes or empty commits are not a reliable way to manually invalidate the contributor cache. |

I rewrote this repository's history to remove Co-Authored-By trailers, and force-pushed all branches. No commit in the repository now contains that trailer, and no commit is authored or committed by that account — I've verified this across every ref. However, the Contributors list still shows the removed co-author. Please regenerate/flush the cached contributor statistics for this repository.
