Since you have posted this under the School Email/Domain Issues category and provided all the necessary details (the database name, your actual domain, and the school website), you are in the exact right place. The GitHub Education team monitors this specific category to manually verify and add missing or mismatched domains to their system. What to expect next:
If you are in a rush and the application portal allows you to bypass the email error by uploading evidence (some regions allow this fallback), you can try uploading a clear, official document like a faculty ID card or an official letter of employment on school letterhead. |

To turn "right category" into a concrete path — domain-mapping corrections have a specific route:
Romanization mismatches like this (Du Gwang / Dukwang) are a recurring issue for Korean schools in their database, so the support team has seen this exact shape of request before — it's fixable, just not from your side. |

School Email/Domain Issues
Hi everyone,
Hello,
I am a teacher at an accredited public middle school in South Korea.
When applying for GitHub Teacher benefits:
The school listed in the database is "Du Gwang Middle School" (with a space).
However, our official school email domain is @dukwang.ms.kr (without a space).
School Website: http://dukwang.ms.kr
Because of this spelling mismatch, the automated system blocks my application with the error:
"GitHub Education benefits are currently only available for accredited degree or diploma granting schools."
Could a GitHub Education admin please update the domain mapping for Du Gwang Middle School to include @dukwang.ms.kr?
Thank you!
