I've recently started using the colorblind themes (thank you for them!) but get tripped up because the muddy orange "Open" color (that's what my coworkers tell me) is too close to the "Closed" color that I've become accustomed to.
The colorblind themes use blue/orange as positive/negative colors respectively so I am not sure why an open badge "looks" negative. I understand there have been previous discussions flip-flopping between colors (example) and understand that the blue/purple issue needed to be solved, but could "Open" be a shade of light blue instead of this almost-red?
