Hi everyone,

My GitHub Education application keeps being rejected, but no reason or issue is shown for me to address. I followed all the required steps and updated my billing information so my name matches my academic documents. Without any specific feedback, I don’t know what needs correcting. Could someone from GitHub Education please clarify why my application cannot be verified?

Hey,
Go through the GitHub Support portal and look for the GitHub Education / student verification option. When you contact them, include your GitHub username, school name, the fact that the rejection gives you no reason, and a screenshot of the application page. Mention that you already made sure your billing/profile name matches your academic documents.

GitHub’s own troubleshooting page says to contact Education Support if you’ve tried the normal steps and are still stuck, I wouldn’t keep changing things on your account randomly.
