I recently tried to run the Daily-Repo-Status workflow but keep running into errors.

• What are the repreqs for being able to get it to run? Does the repo need to be public?
• How many secret tokens are needed? What permissions does each token need? Are there specific hand holding instructions that walk you through end to end on how to get this to work, including the initial prereqs?

I feel like there are instructions out there for the initial setup, i'm just not able to find it.

Currently its stuck on the 'agent' part of the workflow:

The repo does not generally need to be public for GitHub Actions to run. The exact requirements depend on what the Daily-Repo-Status workflow is doing.

I'd check these first:

1. Open .github/workflows/ and inspect the Daily-Repo-Status YAML.
2. Look at every ${{ secrets.X }} reference — those are the secrets the workflow actually expects.
3. Check the workflow's permissions: block and the repo's Settings → Actions → General → Workflow permissions.
4. If the workflow is using an ARC/self-hosted runner, verify the runner/scale set is actually online and that runs-on: matches its scale-set name.

If it's stuck specifically at the agent job, the fastest way to diagnose it is to expand that job's logs and check the first actual error rather than the final "job failed" message.
