Hi everyone,

I'm a full-time public elementary school teacher in South Korea.

I applied for GitHub Education as Faculty, but my application was rejected because my institution does not provide instruction to students aged 13 or older.

I'd like to know whether GitHub provides any alternative educator verification route or program for teachers who teach students under the age of 13.

In particular, is there any way for an elementary school teacher to become a verified GitHub educator and qualify for educator benefits such as Copilot Pro?

If elementary school teachers are not eligible for GitHub Education under the current policy, I would also appreciate confirmation.

It looks like the 13+ requirement may be getting mixed up with the Student Developer Pack. GitHub's current teacher eligibility requirements don't mention a minimum student age; they focus on your educator status, verifiable school email, and proof of affiliation.

Since you're a full-time teacher, I'd reapply under Faculty/Teacher and make sure your documents clearly show your current role and school affiliation.
