GitHub Education application repeatedly rejected despite meeting verification requirements

Hi everyone,

I’m having difficulty getting my GitHub Education student status verified.

I have applied multiple times, but my application keeps getting rejected even after addressing the issues mentioned in the rejection feedback.

I have already:

• Updated my GitHub profile with my full legal name exactly as it appears on my academic document.
• Updated my GitHub billing information with the same name.
• Enabled two-factor authentication on my GitHub account.
• Verified my academic email address with my college domain.

I also have an official Memorandum of Marks from my college that contains my full name, college name, examination details, and a recent date.

However, during the verification process, the document/camera recognition does not seem to correctly read my complete name, particularly the last part of my name. I have tried the verification several times, but the application continues to be rejected.

I understand that individual manual reviews are no longer provided. Could someone please advise me on what type of academic document or verification approach would be accepted in this situation?

I would really appreciate any guidance from someone who has successfully completed the verification process with a similar issue.
