Hi everyone,

Student Verification Rejected Multiple Times

Hello GitHub Education Community,

I am a student applying for GitHub Education benefits.

My application was rejected multiple times on August 20, 2026. Each rejection gave different requirements, including:

• My first and last name must exactly match my GitHub billing information.
• My GitHub profile name must exactly match my academic document.
• My academic document must show my complete school name.
• My academic document must show a current date proving my academic affiliation.
• I must use my device camera to submit the academic document.

I have reviewed these requirements and I am trying to correct my application.

Could someone please explain the correct way to satisfy these requirements and what I should check before submitting my application again?

I understand that GitHub no longer provides individual manual reviews, so I am asking for guidance on the correct verification process.
