I use ChiralScroll on 2 laptops, one Windows 10, and another Windows 11, and it will periodically stop working with this error message. If I then click on ChiralScroll.exe, it will run again for a while. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated. Error copy attached.

This is a normal behaviour for a background, light-weight utility wrappers as such mentioned.

The issue

The lifetime's process and its hooks relies on low-lvl Windows API to get in touch (pun intended) with the touchpad. Sometimes these crash/freeze or just terminates itselfs

When youre relaunching, you manually click the ChiralScroll.exe, so it re-initializes the global hook.

The workaround

Automate restart with Windows Task Scheduler ( or crop jobs honestly )
Always run as Administrator when launching
Check for the Power Management Interference
