Hello GitHub Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with the contribution graph on my GitHub profile.

I have been consistently contributing to GitHub every day and have maintained my contribution streak throughout July 2026. When I log in to my own GitHub account and view my profile, my July contributions are visible correctly on my contribution graph.

However, when another person visits my GitHub profile from a different account, my July 2026 contributions are not visible on the contribution graph. The graph appears to stop showing my contributions after June, even though I continued making contributions every day throughout July.

This is causing a significant difference between what I can see while logged into my account and what other users can see when they visit my public profile.

Could you please investigate why my July 2026 contribution activity is visible to me but not visible to other users?

I would also appreciate it if you could check whether this is related to a contribution graph synchronization, visibility, caching, indexing, or account attribution issue.

I have attached screenshots showing the difference between my own view and the view from another account.

I have consistently made contributions during July 2026 and would like my contribution graph to accurately reflect this activity publicly.

I'm not part of the Github support team but I could kindly suggest a few things that could be issue:

1. private repos contribution: by default it does not show so make sure it is checked,
2. If your local Git commits via your actual email - git config user.email
3. CDN and profile caches, cannot do much just hard-refresh for this one

This is almost certainly a setting, not a bug — and it's one of the most common causes of exactly this "I see it, others don't" mismatch.

GitHub shows two different versions of your contribution graph depending on who's looking:

• When you're logged in and viewing your own profile, you see all your activity, including contributions to private repositories.
• When anyone else (or a signed-out visitor) views your public profile, private-repo contributions are hidden by default — only public-repo activity shows up, unless you've explicitly opted in to showing private contributions.

That toggle lives at Settings → Profile → "Include private contributions on my profile." If your July commits were mostly (or entirely) to private repositories, and that box isn't checked, this exactly explains what you're describing: full graph for you, gap for everyone else, with the cutoff lining up right where your private-repo work started.

To fix it: go to that setting and enable it. Note it doesn't reveal what you did in those private repos (no repo names, file names, or commit messages are exposed) — it only shows that a contribution happened on that day, as a square on the graph, same privacy model as it's always had.

If you check that setting and it's already enabled, or your July work was entirely in public repos, then this isn't the private-contributions explanation and is worth its own report with the setting status included — but it's worth ruling this out first since it matches your symptom almost exactly.
