I'd recommend contacting GitHub Support directly. |

Hi everyone,
Hi All,
I'm a distance PhD student and I learned about Git Education benefits today. I want to join GitHub Education as a student to reinforce existing knowledge and expand my repertoire, however the application wants to know why I'm in a location other than the city my university is located in. I checked the "all my courses isremote" option, explained why in writing, and provided photo evidence, but my application was still rejected. What is the best solution for resolving this issue? Is human support an option or is the application process entirely automated? I'm a student registered at -redacted university- and I wouldn't have an active student email account and access to Canvas otherwise if I were not. Based on reading feedback from other rejected applicants, I feel this automated system is in desperate need of revision and a human element. Any available resources to get past this block would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
