Historical contributions missing after removing and re-adding an email address

Hello,

I accidentally removed an old email address from my GitHub account: m.seoudy@my.com.

A large portion of my historical commits across multiple repositories were authored using this email. After removing it, those historical contributions disappeared from my contribution graph, while the commits and repository histories remained intact.

I have since re-added and verified the exact same email address to my GitHub account. It has now been more than a week, but the historical contributions have still not returned.

I have verified that the email matches the author email of the affected commits. For example:

• Date: July 6, 2026

The commit is currently attributed to my 0xMohamed profile when viewing the repository, but it is still missing from my global contribution graph.

This is not limited to this repository; the same issue affects historical contributions across numerous repositories and a long period of my contribution history.

GitHub's documentation states that after re-adding an email, contributions should normally return within 24 hours. It has now been over a week.

I also contacted GitHub Support through the official support portal, but the ticket was automatically closed and I was directed to GitHub Community, Docs, and Skills based on the support resources currently available to my account.

Could someone please advise whether there is any additional step I should take to restore these historical contributions, or whether this requires an account-side contribution graph reprocessing?
