Are there any special cases where you might need to switch from MacBooks to Windows laptops for coding tasks? Or do we need to admit that MacBooks are still undefeated when it comes to performance? ( Remember, budget is not a constraint in this situation)

MacBooks are undefeated at being great laptops, not at raw performance.
Give me CUDA, Unreal/DirectX, heavy GPU compute, Windows-native development or automotive/embedded tooling and I’ll pick a high-end Windows machine without thinking twice.
For web, backend, mobile or general software engineering? MacBook all day: battery life, thermals, build quality and performance-per-watt are ridiculously hard to beat.
Unlimited budget doesn’t eliminate platform constraints. The workload decides the winner.

Windows Laptop
Pros : Nvidia GPU, gaming, Coding, CUDA cores.
Cons: Heavy, 2 hour battery life, impractical.

MacBook
Pros : Powerful chips, great ecosystem, less errors, unix based, highly protable.
cons : Cannot game.

Verdict : If you don't wanna game. Just buy a macbook.
Tip : pair it with iphone/ipad to create an ecosystem.
