Hi Allen, Since you have already completed the email verification but are unable to receive the SMS verification code, I recommend contacting GitHub Support directly through the official support page. Explain that you cannot complete the suspension appeal because the SMS code is not arriving on your Taiwan (+886) number. Include the error message you received and mention that you have stopped requesting new codes to avoid extending the request limit. GitHub Support should be able to review your account and let you know if there is another way to verify your identity and submit the appeal. Also, avoid repeatedly requesting SMS codes while the limit is active, as this may prevent you from trying again for a while. I hope GitHub Support can help you resolve the issue and complete your appeal. |

Hello GitHub Support Team,
My GitHub account has been suspended, and I am trying to submit an appeal.
I have successfully completed the email verification step. However, the appeal process then requires SMS verification, and I have not received the verification code on my Taiwan mobile number.
I have tried requesting the SMS code, but no message has been received(Taiwan +886). I also received the following error:
"You've reached your request limit, please try again later."
I therefore cannot complete the appeal process.
I do not see an alternative verification method on the verification page.
I respectfully request your assistance with the following:
I am the legitimate owner of this GitHub account and am willing to provide any information necessary to verify my identity.
I have stopped repeatedly requesting SMS codes to avoid triggering additional request limits.
For context, I use GitHub for software development and my own projects. I recently used Claude, an AI-assisted development tool, to work with my own GitHub repositories. I did not intentionally use GitHub for unauthorized access, malicious activity, spam, or abuse.
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in completing my appeal without requiring SMS verification.
Thank you.
Best regards,
