if the organization namespace is still accessible, it may be worth checking whether any other owner or admin account is still attached to it. also, avoid repeatedly trying to recreate the deleted username or namespace while the support ticket is being reviewed, since that could potentially complicate the situation. keeping the original ticket updated with the exact organization/package scope and any release deadline should make it easier for the support team to understand the impact. |

Hello GitHub Community and npm Team,
I am posting here to request an escalation for an urgent, release-blocking account issue submitted through the official npm support web portal 3 days ago.
Issue Summary: While following the npm "Convert to organization" pipeline for our company profile, an accidental action resulted in the deletion of the original user account that initialized the organization setup. Because this user account was deleted mid-process, our organization namespace and package scope have become orphaned with no active administrative owner.
Due to the standard registry cooldown/lock rules on deleted namespaces, we are unable to recreate the account or self-reclaim the administrative seats. This is currently blocking a time-sensitive, production deployment for our business.Ticket ID: #4698661
Date Submitted: Approximately 3 days agoI have provided all verifiable ownership details (matching company emails, exact organization handle) directly within the private web ticket. Could an internal moderator or registry engineer please look into this ticket ID and escalate it to the appropriate team?
Thank you for your assistance.
