Hi everyone,

Hi GitHub Education Team,

My GitHub Education application has already been approved, and I’m currently waiting for the education benefits to become available. I understand that it can take up to 72 hours for the benefits to be activated.

However, I have an important university presentation in 2 days, and I’m specifically relying on the GitHub Education benefits for this presentation/project. Because of the upcoming deadline, I would really appreciate it if my benefits could be activated sooner, if possible.

I completely understand that the activation process may take some time, but given the university deadline, I kindly request the team to consider expediting my benefits or checking if there is anything that can be done from your side.

I would be extremely grateful for your help. Thank you for supporting students and for taking the time to look into my request.

since your application is already approved, i wouldn't make any account changes or submit another application. the 72-hour activation period is usually part of the processing flow, so there may not be a manual way to speed it up. i'd prepare a fallback for the presentation in case the benefits aren't active in time, and if 72 hours passes with no activation, then raise it with github education support.
