I do think that non-English names can sometimes cause problems with GitHub’s automated verification system. I met a Russian guy who experienced a similar issue. Eventually, he created an ID using an English transliteration of his name, and his application was approved. |

Ask them to escalate your case for manual review and reference your existing ticket. Point out that your name matches across GitHub and your documentation, and request a human response rather than another automated reply. |

Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
How do I get someone from GitHub to actually review my documents and TALK TO ME instead of sending me a generic response, for which I already provided the documentation? My professor is requesting we use GitHUB and I cant complete my project because reviewers can't handle a last name that is not in English? Really? My last name is consistent everywhere in GitHUB and in my official documentation and my documentation clearly says ONLINE. This is beyond frustrating.
