Hi everyone,

Hi GitHub Education Community Managers,

I am writing to report a severe automated verification bot loop that is preventing legitimate students from accessing educational benefits. My account username is @youcheng10509-hash.

Despite successfully verifying my official school-issued email domain (1151140@mail.hhjh.hc.edu.tw), the automated bot keeps rejecting my application due to the following system flaws:

1. Name Matching Issue: My GitHub public profile name has been updated to my legal name "吳宥澄", which matches my school document perfectly. However, the bot fails to recognize it.
2. Geolocation Bug: Since I commute by train, I am applying from home after school hours. The bot rigidly rejects my application because my current IP/GPS location is not physically inside the campus coordinates.
3. Language Barrier (OCR Failure): The automated system cannot cross-reference the official English name "Hsinchu Municipal Hsiang Shan Senior High School" with the Traditional Chinese text "新竹市立香山高級中學" printed on my official school portal screenshot.
4. Support Closure: The standard support ticket loop explicitly states that manual reviews are no longer offered, leaving me with absolutely no way to bypass this broken automated system.

I am a legitimate high school student in Taiwan. Given that the bot is stuck in an endless loop due to these 4 combined flaws, could a Community Manager please kindly intervene, review my backend documentation, and manually approve my student status?

If your school email has already been verified but your application is still being rejected, I would recommend checking the exact name and other details on your GitHub profile against your official school document.

For the location issue, you can also check whether your school is eligible for GitHub Education and whether you are applying through the correct student verification process.

If the automated verification continues to reject a valid application, the best next step is to contact GitHub Education Support through the official support channels. The community cannot manually approve student accounts or bypass the verification system.
