GitHub Education live camera makes a clear document blurry

Hi everyone,

Hello,

I am experiencing a technical issue with the GitHub Education application camera.

The application requires me to use a live camera and does not offer the option to upload the original JPG. My academic document and the camera preview are clear before taking the picture. However, after capturing and confirming the photo, the resulting image becomes blurry and compressed.

I have already tried Chrome on Android, a rear camera, good lighting, a close-up of the important information, another screen displaying the document, and signing out and back in. The applications are immediately rejected because the text, school name, student name, and date cannot be detected.

I am not requesting a manual review or an application status update. I would like to know how I can submit a legible image when the required camera capture reduces its quality and file uploads are unavailable.
