Hi everyone,

Hi GitHub Education Team,

I am applying for the GitHub Teacher benefits as an elementary school teacher, but I am stuck in an automated verification rejection loop regarding my name matching.

• Full Legal Name: JIHWAN KWON (권지환)
• School: Shinkwang Elementary School (신광초등학교)
• Status: Head Teacher (부장교사)

Current Situation:

1. I updated both my Public Profile Name and Billing Information to match my legal English name (JIHWAN KWON) exactly as stated on my Certificate of Employment.
2. I have logged out and logged back in to refresh the session cache before re-applying.
3. However, the automated OCR check continues to reject my application with: "Please ensure that your academic affiliation document contains your last name/first name exactly as it appears in your GitHub billing information."

The Certificate of Employment issued by my school contains my full legal name in both English (JIHWAN KWON) and Korean (권지환), along with the official school seal and my employment period. It seems the automated OCR parser has trouble distinguishing the fields on the bilingual certificate.

Could a support team member please conduct a manual review for my application? I am ready to provide additional official documents if needed.
