Hi everyone,

Every time I try to apply for education benefits, it redirects me to the pricing page with no option to apply, no way for me to check status or proceed in any way. I have been unable to get support to respond, and was told this was the best place to get support. I have tried multiple locations/devices/browsers, it's something wrong with my account, and I can't find help anywhere. This has been going on for months, and I really don't know what else to do. I know others have had this issue, but it seems like there's no one at github helping or able to do anything?

This sounds like an account-level issue rather than a browser or device problem, especially since you’ve already tried multiple browsers, devices, and locations.

I would recommend checking that your GitHub account profile information is complete and that you’re signed into the correct account. You can also try opening the Education application page directly while logged in instead of going through the pricing page.

If it still keeps redirecting to pricing, the best option would be to contact GitHub Support and mention that the Education application is redirecting to the pricing page and that you have already tested multiple browsers and devices. Include screenshots of the redirect if possible, as this may help them identify an account-specific issue.

I appreciate your attempt to help, but there is nowhere in github support to request assistance. They closed my previous ticket multiple times without any update. Github support will not help.

If GitHub Support is closing your tickets without resolving the issue, try submitting the Education application while logged out and then signing in when prompted. Also check that your GitHub account has a verified email and that your profile information matches your student details.

If it still redirects to the pricing page, it is likely an account-side Education eligibility issue rather than a browser problem.
