Hi everyone,

Hey everyone i am a OMSCS student at georgia tech and i keep getting rejected as my location is not near the campus or my name even though i believe it is the same and also when i am taking the photo the pdf soft copy (on ipad) via phone no matter what it is not coming in clean and even though the date of bursar and fee paid and my name is reflected on there i dont think the system is able to verify it

OMSCS is an online degree, so physical distance from the Georgia Tech campus is expected. The application needs evidence that explains that fact instead of trying to make your device location resemble the campus. Do not use a VPN or spoof location.

The photo-of-an-iPad approach is likely hurting verification because of glare, moiré, and reduced text clarity. Use a different current document that can be captured cleanly through the required camera flow, preferably:

• a current enrollment verification letter;
• a current transcript or class schedule showing the active term;
• or an official bursar statement that clearly shows your full name, Georgia Tech, and the current term/date.

Make sure your GitHub profile name exactly matches the document. If the application asks why you are away from campus, state plainly that you are enrolled in Georgia Tech's Online Master of Science in Computer Science program and study remotely. If possible, request an enrollment letter that explicitly says the program is online.

GitHub's documentation accepts an enrollment letter, class schedule, transcript, or current-dated school ID as proof. Submit one clear, purpose-built document rather than repeatedly photographing the same PDF. Do not post the bursar statement publicly.
