Looking for Help to Build a Small Web App for My Mother (ASHA Worker #208007

This sounds like a genuinely useful project. Since you already have the workflow and screens, the best next step is to share a sanitized one-page brief rather than the whole idea at once. That will make it much easier for a developer to tell you what is realistic and give you a fair estimate. I’d include:
For a first version, I would keep it very small: login, the main household/patient list, one visit or follow-up workflow, reminders, and export/backup. Test that with your mother before building reports, admin panels, or extra automation. A simple installable PWA could be a good fit because it can feel like a phone app without needing separate Android and iOS projects, but the offline and sync requirements should be decided first. One important caution: please don’t post real patient data in this discussion or a public repository. If the app will store health information, agree in writing on access control, encryption, backups, data deletion, and who owns the source code before development begins. When you speak with a developer, ask for a small paid discovery milestone first: review the requirements, produce a technical outline, define the MVP, and give you a fixed estimate for that MVP. It is much safer than agreeing immediately to build the entire product. If you add the sanitized brief or repository link here, people can give you much more concrete guidance. |

Hi @parth270520, I'd be happy to help with this — I've actually built something very similar before. I was part of a team that developed ReliefX, a full-stack flood relief management system (PHP/MySQL) that handles households/beneficiaries, item tracking, distribution records, and duplicate-prevention logic (it's live at reliefx.stratifyxglobal.com if you want a reference). So the household/family management + tracking + notification pattern you're describing for your mother's ASHA work is something I have direct experience with. A few things worth nailing down before we start building, based on what you've shared: Login (4-digit code): simple, no problem — but if you want an extra layer of security like 2FA/OTP, keep in mind email-based OTP is essentially free, while SMS OTP needs a paid SMS gateway (small ongoing cost). Worth deciding upfront since it affects the budget. Family Management: household records, member details, and probably a way to flag/search by pregnancy status or high-risk cases. Pregnancy Tracking: due dates, visit schedules, ANC/PNC checkups — reminders tied to this would be the most valuable feature for a field worker. Notifications/Reminders: decide if this is in-app only, SMS-based (cost), or both. Offline use: since this is for a village setting, worth confirming if she'll have reliable internet — that decides whether we need offline-first (PWA) support or a simple online-only app. For the tech stack, I'd suggest PHP + MySQL for the backend (proven, cheap to host, easy to maintain long-term without needing you to depend on a developer forever), a simple responsive frontend (HTML/CSS/JS, mobile-first since she'll likely use a phone), and we can keep the whole thing lightweight so it runs well even on a basic Android device. Happy to work together on this — if you can share your complete requirements list and design, I can review it, structure it into a proper database schema + feature roadmap, and give you a realistic estimate to build it out properly. Feel free to DM me here or reach out. |

Hey, |

Hi! I saw your post and wanted to reach out. My girlfriend is also a nurse, so I can personally relate to wanting to build something that makes healthcare work a little easier. I'm a frontend developer, and I'd be happy to help if you ever need any support with the web app, whether it's UI/frontend development, reviewing the code, or discussing technical decisions. It looks like the project has already been completed, but if you need any help maintaining or improving it in the future, feel free to reach out anytime. 🙂 |

looking for Someone Who Can Help Me Build a Small Web App 🙏
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for someone who can help me build a small web app for my mother, who works as an ASHA nurse in a village in India.
I have already prepared the complete idea, workflow, requirements and design. The only problem is that I don’t know coding, so I’m struggling to turn the design into a working web app.
It’s a small project, and I’m looking for someone who can guide me or help me with the coding and development.
💻 What I already have:
App idea & workflow
Requirements
UI/design plan
Basic project structure/plan
🙏 What I need:
Someone who can help me convert this into a working web application and explain things to me along the way.
I’m also willing to pay for the help/work, so this is not asking for free development. We can discuss the work and payment privately.
If anyone is interested or can help, please comment or DM me. ❤️
Thank you so much!
