Repeated rejection for Student Pack application with official documents #208203

i am running into the exact same issue right now. the automated verification system and its ocr are an absolute on top of that, my initial application took 5 full days under review, only to get rejected despite providing an official document containing a valid, verifiable qr code. now the camera system is completely broken: when you take a photo from far enough to fit the entire document, it says "unable to read." when you move closer so the text is clear, it fails because it can't detect other mandatory elements or flags it as third-party. the webview camera doesn't even support digital zoom or proper manual review needs to be made easily accessible for valid, official documents instead of forcing students to fight a broken automated scanner. hoping a community manager steps in here soon. |

Me too! I'm online and can't even get approved! I even tried with my teacher credential and that didn't work either. |

Hi @Zenty8 Repeated Student Pack rejection with enrollment certificate, translation, and live photo of student ID usually fails on photo quality or name date fields, not document authenticity. Improve submission:
Escalation: Support, GitHub Education category. Community managers cannot run manual verify. Support with documents can. |

Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Hello, my application for the Student Developer Pack keeps getting rejected by the automated system. I am providing my official enrollment certificate, an English translation of the certificate, and my physical student ID taken together in a live photo.
Could a Community Manager please help check why the automated verification is failing for my school?
