why I cannot upgrade my copilot plan in GitHub account?

I was trying to upgrade my copilot plan in my GitHub account which is registered through google account. But everytime I put down my billing information, the page turns into this: " This page is taking too long to load. Sorry about that. Please try refreshing and contact us if the problem persists." I tried different searching engines and it all ended up with this broken page. What is happening here. How can I resolve this issue?

It sounds more like a problem with the billing/checkout page than with the fact that your GitHub account is registered through Google.

I'd try signing out of GitHub, clearing the GitHub site cookies/cache, and then signing back in before attempting the upgrade again. You could also try a private/incognito window with browser extensions disabled, since an extension or cached session can sometimes interfere with checkout pages.

If the same “page is taking too long to load” message appears across different browsers and networks, check whether GitHub is reporting any ongoing service issues. If there isn't an incident and the problem persists, I'd contact GitHub Support and include the exact error message, the Copilot plan you're trying to purchase, and the approximate time the checkout failed. Avoid posting any billing or payment details publicly in the discussion.

Try clearing your browser cookies and cache, then log out and back into GitHub before attempting the upgrade again. If that doesn't work, try a different browser or incognito mode to rule out browser issues. If the problem persists, contact GitHub support directly as this could be a backend issue with their billing system.
