Hi everyone,

I have already exhausted all options I can to apply for github education. When i checked the email and the education benefits tab for the reason, It always says the same things even though I have already resolved them such as making sure the last name in my submitted document is the same as the last name in my github billing information. I have also searched around such as in the forums here but I saw nothing related to my issue since i did check if my pictures were blurry, etc, and I also checked if the document i added had my last name as first or not, etc...

What else can i do, i just want to apply for this and get it over with so i can get the benefits :((

If you’ve already confirmed that the name on your GitHub account/billing information matches the document, and the document is clear and readable, I’d check the other verification details rather than repeatedly submitting the same document.

Make sure the document is an accepted proof of current student status, that your school information is clearly visible, and that your GitHub profile has your real name and school information where applicable. Also make sure the document isn’t expired or otherwise missing the information the verification system needs.

If everything matches and you’re still getting the same rejection reason, I’d avoid uploading increasingly different documents just to see what works. At that point, the best next step is to contact GitHub Education Support and include the exact rejection message and what you’ve already verified. They can check the application-specific issue that community members can’t see.
