Teacher verification keeps getting rejected despite valid documents #209194

I'm having a similar problem. My application keeps getting rejected, even though I've attached a photo of an official document from my vocational school with the correct information. Trying to submit an English translation didn't help either. Without further guidance on where the problem lies and who’s responsible, I’m stuck. Unfortunately, there’s no way to contact support directly. |

That's frustrating, especially after multiple attempts with official documents. I'd recommend contacting GitHub Education support directly and requesting a manual review, asking them to identify the exact discrepancy. Hopefully, they can help you get verified so you can continue using the benefits for your classes. |

Hello, I would like to clarify the current status of my GitHub Education teacher verification. I have submitted my application and provided multiple official documents, including proof of my employment and my International Teacher Identity Card. However, my verification attempts have repeatedly been unsuccessful, with feedback mentioning issues such as my school name or a mismatch with my GitHub billing information. Could you please confirm:
I would appreciate clarification on my current verification status and the specific steps I need to take to complete the verification successfully. Thank you. |

Re-verification/Repeat Application
Hi everyone,
Hello,
I have tried several times to verify my teacher status for GitHub Education, using different official documents.
I keep receiving feedback that, for example, my school name is missing or that my name does not match my GitHub billing information, although I have checked this carefully and the information is correct.
In my latest attempt, I submitted screenshots from the Belgian government website showing my employment and salary, together with my International Teacher Identity Card.
I already tried to solve this in October 2024, but eventually gave up after several failed attempts. Now I really need this to work, especially since GitHub Classroom has been retired and I need the Education benefits for my classes.
Could someone please advise what exactly is still missing, or help with a manual review?
Thank you!
