Re-verification/Repeat Application
Hi everyone,
i GitHub Education Team,
I am trying to apply for the Student Developer Pack. I am a student at SNBP International School in India. My school does not provide student email addresses, so I am uploading my physical school ID card.
The automated bot keeps rejecting my application claiming a name mismatch error. However, my public profile name and billing information match my legal ID card perfectly.
I believe the automated OCR text scanner is failing because of the card's physical layout: the school name is printed at the top left of our official ID layout, while the student name and current academic year text are located at the bottom right. The bot is failing to link the two sections together.
Since individual manual tickets are closed, could a GitHub Education staff member please look into my account queue and help me clear this automated verification loop? Thank you!"
