Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Hello GitHub Education Community,
I am a currently enrolled B.Tech student at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati.
My GitHub Education application has been rejected multiple times. The latest rejection says:
"Please ensure that your academic affiliation document contains your last name exactly as it appears in your GitHub billing information."
My official academic document shows my name as:
PINNAMARAJU VISHAL SRI CHANDRA VARMA
My GitHub billing information is:
First name: PINNAMARAJU VISHAL SRI CHANDRA
Last name: VARMA
My GitHub profile also contains my full name, and my university email address is verified on my GitHub account.
I have already tried correcting the information, signing out and signing back in, and submitting my official university grade sheet. The application continues to be rejected with the same name-verification message.
I have now attempted the application multiple times and would like to know what specific information the automated verification system is detecting as a mismatch.
What should I change before attempting another application?
Thank you.
