Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Hello,
I am a currently enrolled B.Tech student and I am having repeated problems with GitHub Education verification.
My application has been rejected multiple times. The latest rejection says that my academic affiliation document must contain my last name exactly as it appears in my GitHub billing information.
I have checked this carefully. My academic document and GitHub billing information contain the same first and last name.
I have also:
verified my university email address on GitHub;
checked my GitHub billing information;
checked my profile information;
submitted an official university grade sheet;
signed out and signed back in;
reapplied after correcting the information.
However, the application continues to be rejected with the same name-verification message.
Could someone please explain what I should check or change before submitting another application?
Thank you.
