GitHub Pages cannot verify TXT record for tecchnex.com

Hello GitHub Community,

I am trying to verify ownership of my custom domain tecchnex.com for my GitHub Pages site.

GitHub provided the following TXT verification record:

Hostname:
_github-pages-challenge-gestionesriesgos980-debug.tecchnex.com

TXT value:
4214bb9a51c5ed1030c7a54aead84c

GitHub Pages continues to show:

"We were unable to verify ownership of tecchnex.com. We couldn't find the TXT record."

However, I have independently verified the DNS record from Windows PowerShell.

The TXT record is correctly returned by both authoritative Cloudflare nameservers:

yoxall.ns.cloudflare.com
aleena.ns.cloudflare.com

It is also correctly returned by Google Public DNS:

8.8.8.8

All three DNS queries return the exact same TXT value:

4214bb9a51c5ed1030c7a54aead84c

The GitHub Pages verification URL is:

https://github.com/settings/pages_verified_domains/tecchnex.com

My GitHub Pages site is:

https://gestionesgos980-debug.github.io/SistemaInspeccionesSeguridad/

What I expected:
GitHub should detect the TXT record and verify ownership of tecchnex.com.

What actually happens:
GitHub cannot find the TXT record when I click "Verify", even though the record is publicly resolvable from both authoritative DNS servers and Google Public DNS.

I have attached screenshots showing:

1. The TXT record requested by GitHub.
2. The GitHub verification error after clicking "Verify".
3. The TXT record returned by yoxall.ns.cloudflare.com.
4. The TXT record returned by aleena.ns.cloudflare.com.
5. The same TXT record returned by Google DNS (8.8.8.8).

Could someone please help determine why GitHub Pages is not detecting this TXT record?

The record is under the wrong hostname. Your account is gestionriesgos980-debug, and the verification page in your first screenshot asks for _github-pages-challenge-gestionriesgos980-debug. The TXT record you created, and the one all three of your Resolve-DnsName checks look up, is _github-pages-challenge-gestionesriesgos980-debug, with an extra es in the middle. GitHub queries the first name, and it does not exist:

_github-pages-challenge-gestionriesgos980-debug.tecchnex.com    TXT  -> NXDOMAIN (yoxall, aleena, 8.8.8.8)
_github-pages-challenge-gestionesriesgos980-debug.tecchnex.com  TXT  -> "4214bb9a51c5ed1030c7a54aead84c"

Fix in the Cloudflare DNS dashboard: edit that TXT record and change its Name to _github-pages-challenge-gestionriesgos980-debug (Cloudflare appends .tecchnex.com), keep the same value, save, then click Verify again. Cloudflare publishes changes in seconds, so the 24-hour note does not apply here. You can check before clicking:

Resolve-DnsName _github-pages-challenge-gestionriesgos980-debug.tecchnex.com -Type TXT -Server 8.8.8.8

Separate from verification: tecchnex.com currently has no A records and www has no CNAME, so once the domain is verified you still need the four Pages A records on the apex (185.199.108.153, 185.199.109.153, 185.199.110.153, 185.199.111.153) or a www CNAME to gestionriesgos980-debug.github.io, and then enter the domain under the repository's Settings > Pages > Custom domain.
