Hello GitHub Community and Support Team,
I'm posting from my alternate GitHub account because my primary account, @NaviotKaur01, is currently suspended and I cannot sign in to access my existing support tickets.
I would appreciate some guidance on the appropriate next steps for my reinstatement request.
Here is what has happened so far:
My primary GitHub account was suspended, and the suspension page states that access was restricted due to a Terms of Service violation.
I submitted an official reinstatement request through GitHub Support.
I received a response from a support representative named Cora, who asked me to explain how I intended to use GitHub.
I replied and explained that I use GitHub for legitimate software development, including private repositories for client and company projects, source-code management, collaboration, pull requests, code reviews, and deployment workflows.
I subsequently followed up because I had not received another response, but I am still waiting for an update.
I have also previously encountered suspicious activity involving my development environment and Git repositories. I cannot confirm whether this is related to the suspension, but I would appreciate clarification if any specific activity needs to be addressed.
GitHub is an important part of my regular development workflow, and I would like to resolve this matter through the proper process. I am willing to provide any additional information required and comply with GitHub's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policies.
Since I cannot access the suspended account's support portal, could a GitHub Community team member please advise me on the appropriate way to follow up on my existing reinstatement request?
I understand that account reinstatement decisions must be handled by GitHub Support. I am not asking anyone to bypass that process; I am simply seeking guidance on how to ensure my existing request can be reviewed.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
