Whenever German words containing the sharp S (ß/ẞ) appear in upper case anywhere in the GitHub app, ‘SS’ is used instead of the correct capitalised sharp S (ẞ). One example is the word ‘Abschließen’ when viewing a PR; see the screenshot. The correct form would be ‘ABSCHLIEẞEN’. It is likely that both the Android and iOS versions will be affected in the same way. I have encountered the problem on Android.
