Unable to Pin Upstream Repositories Despite Having Contributed to Them #210024

You can pin repositories you have contributed to, not just ones you own — the picker hides them behind a filter, which is the usual reason contributed upstreams seem "unavailable":
If an upstream repo still does not appear even with the right filter, check how the contribution is recorded, because the picker follows your contribution graph:
If you share one example repo (owner/name) and how you contributed (merged PR link is ideal), I can tell you which of these applies. If the repo shows in your contributions graph but never in the pin picker even by full-name search, that combination is worth a GitHub Support ticket as a picker bug. |

Fork emacs-mirror/emacs, then give your contribution graph up to 24 hours to refresh. Commits count only after you fork that repo, open issues or PRs there, or become its collaborator. Your commit c6e2bd3 is on master and linked to your account, so only that condition is missing. Docs: https://docs.github.com/en/account-and-profile/reference/profile-contributions-reference |

I'm having trouble pinning some public repositories that I have contributed to on my GitHub profile.
I have made contributions to these upstream repositories, but they do not appear to be available for pinning.
