GitHub Projects does not support CI status as a field yet, so there is no direct option for filtering or sorting by it. A couple of workarounds exist though. One approach uses PR search, since GitHub already allows filtering PRs by CI status and review state. For example, open PRs that are approved and passing, or passing ones with no reviews at all: These can be saved as bookmarks and pulled up when needed. The other option involves adding a custom field right in the project, for example a single-select field called CI with Passing and Failing. A workflow triggered on I think the first way is simpler for now. The second one requires extra setup but might make sense if you need everything inside projects. |

+1 to this, it would make triage views so much more useful. “Approved and green” is exactly the filter I keep wanting. As a workaround for now, you can add a custom single select field like “CI status” to the project and update it with a small GitHub Actions workflow that runs when checks complete, setting the field through the GraphQL API. It’s not as clean as a built-in field, but it lets you filter and sort by it today. |

The idea is to use the check status in the view filter queries and table columns for display and sorting. With such feature, I can create a project view with:
