Hi everyone!

I'm Ben, a software engineer from the UK. I've been working on a side project called Pointwise Estimates, a collaborative planning poker app that integrates with GitHub and uses GitHub Copilot AI to help teams review issues, identify risks, and estimate work more effectively.

It's been a rewarding experience taking an idea through development to a working product, and I'm excited to connect with other developers, share what I've learned, and see what everyone else is building.

I'm looking forward to growing Pointwise Estimates, connecting with developers and engineering teams, and continuing to improve how teams collaborate around GitHub issues. I'm particularly excited about exploring how GitHub Copilot and AI can make planning, estimation, and code reviews more useful.

What technical skills or projects are you working on?

I'm currently developing Pointwise Estimates, a SaaS application built with React, TypeScript, Supabase, and Vercel. My focus is on GitHub integrations, collaborative real-time experiences, and using GitHub Copilot AI to improve issue analysis and estimation. I'm also exploring SaaS architecture, subscription management with Stripe, and building developer tools that solve practical problems.
