**Hi GitHub Community,

I have a question regarding the "Heart On Your Sleeve" achievement badge. I learned that this badge is awarded to users who react to a Pull Request, Issue, or a comment with a "Love" / Heart (❤️) emoji.

I have reacted with the heart emoji on multiple PRs and comments recently, but I haven't received this badge yet. I would like to know more about the current status of this achievement:

Is this badge still active and obtainable? Or has it been discontinued/deprecated?

Are there any specific criteria changed? (e.g., Do we need a specific number of reactions like Bronze/Silver tiers, or does it only count on public repositories?)

Is it still in the experimental/beta phase? (Some community threads suggest it was unreleased or experimental).

Could anyone or the GitHub staff clarify how this badge exactly works now? Any insights would be really helpful.

Thank you!**

Short answer: you can't earn it right now. As far as anyone has found, Heart On Your Sleeve has not been released yet.

• GitHub has never announced it or published how to earn it. The same goes for Open Sourcerer.
• Community trackers of achievements still list both with unknown criteria (for example drknzz/GitHub-Achievements).
• So reacting with ❤️ won't unlock it today, on public or private repos. The tiers are unknown for the same reason.

Achievements you can earn now: Quickdraw, Pull Shark, Galaxy Brain, Pair Extraordinaire, YOLO, Starstruck and Public Sponsor. You can see your own under Achievements on your profile. If GitHub releases it later, it should show up there.
