Hi everyone,

Hi GitHub Education Team,

I am writing to request manual assistance with my GitHub Student Developer Pack application. My verification request was automatically rejected due to a discrepancy between the school name selected in the form and the name shown on my academic proof - that is my assumption so far as it took 30s to reject.

Here are the details of the issue:
Selected School Name in Form: Agricultural University of Kraków.
Document Provided: Official Digital Student ID (mLegitymacja) screenshot

I think the reason for Mismatch: The application form uses the English translation of my university's name (University of Agriculture in Krakow). However, my official Polish digital ID (mLegitymacja) displays the full legal name in Polish (Uniwerystet Rolniczy im. Hugona Kołłątaja w Krakowie).

In Poland, students are issued digital ID cards (mLegitymacja) via the official government app, and I do not have a separate physical ID card. The digital document clearly contains my full name, photo, valid issue/expiration dates, and my student ID number, the form is not allowing to upload additional documents.

Could you please manually review my uploaded proof and application? I would be very grateful for your support in approving my student status.

Hi!

I think the difference between the English and Polish names of your university could be causing confusion during the verification process.

Since your mLegitymacja is an official student document, I would recommend contacting GitHub Education support directly and explaining that both names refer to the same institution. If possible, you could also provide an official university webpage showing its name in both Polish and English.

Hopefully, the GitHub Education team can clarify the requirements or review your application manually.
