The GraphQL API lets you read the edit history of an issue, pull request or comment body through
userContentEdits, but there is no way to delete a revision. The only option is "Delete revision from history" in the web UI, one revision at a time.Request: a GraphQL mutation (e.g.
deleteUserContentEdit(input: {id})) or a REST endpoint that removes a revision, with the same permissions as the UI action.Use case: when a secret or personal data ends up in an issue or PR body and is then edited out, the old text stays readable in the edit history. Cleaning this up across many issues, comments or repositories means clicking through each revision by hand. An API would allow scripting it, the same way you can already edit or delete the content itself.
I checked the current GraphQL mutation list and none of them touch
