I’ve been looking into cybersecurity for about 2–3 months, but I haven’t really learned anything about hacking yet, and I could use some help.

I think you need to learn a bit about theory first, and that would help you ease into things. And hacking is a very broad term, you might actually start off with pentesting, or network mapping.
Anyways thats enough talk, check ISC2 they offer an intro course called CC (certified in cybersecurity) which is free, and from there you can lean into Comptia Networking or A+
