Hello GitHub Team,
First, thank you for your continued efforts to make GitHub accessible to all users.
I would like to suggest improvements for users with visual impairments and those who rely on screen readers. While GitHub already provides many accessibility features, there are situations where navigation through complex pages such as repositories, pull requests, and discussions can become challenging.
Some areas that could be enhanced include:
Improved screen reader announcements for dynamic content updates.
More consistent keyboard navigation across all GitHub features.
Additional high-contrast theme options for users with low vision.
Enhanced accessibility documentation and tutorials for new users.
Making these improvements could help create a more inclusive experience for developers of all abilities.
I would be interested in learning about any upcoming accessibility initiatives or features planned by the GitHub team.
Thank you for your time and for your commitment to accessibility.
Best regards,
Gautam Kumar
